There is a demon that is an Offensive spirit. Do you know of someone throughout your lifetime that always takes offense? Someone who holds grudges and lets any and everything bothers them. There is a demon named an offensive spirit. It may have other names as well. The person that is under the influence of this spirit will believe that everyone is against them and will interpret circumstances in a negative light.
Jesus warns us in Luke 17. Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! 2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.3 Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4 And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”
You will see that we are to forgive one who has sinned against us. This is important to not let this spirit into your life. Pride often times keeps people from forgiving someone when they have had an offense against them. We are the light on the earth and are to be God’s ambassadors. Walking in love to all people but especially to our brethren. Many in the church have this offensive spirit. If you are reading this and you are offended I would suggest repenting, forgiving and casting that demon out of you. Jesus loves you and we are to love. We must as children of the light forgive those who have offended us or hurt us. When we forgive we are acting as our Lord Jesus Christ. I have seen people that are bound by unforgiveness and will hold on to bitterness for hurts that occurred decades ago. What a shame to waste so much valuable time. Letting go of hurts and releasing it to the Lord Jesus frees us!
