1 Corinthians 9:24-27 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air;
Philippians 2:16 holding fast the word of life so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain.
My brothers and sisters in Christ understand and know that we must keep our eyes on Christ to last and finish the race. Athletes train for months at a time for an event. They build muscles, stretch and build endurance for an event. Our race is a lifelong race towards the prize of Christ. We must train by staying in the word of God, prayers, fasting and active ministry. “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also” James 2:26
I write this message to you as a warning. When one goes through deliverance and Jesus heals their heart, they often becoming slack afterward. They enjoy there new found freedom and forget 1 Peter 5:8 Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. The enemy never stops his assault. We are his enemy as Christ lives in us. So we have to be prepared daily, hourly, moment by moment to defend and rebuke him.
One of the biggest weapons the enemy uses against the Saints is Soul Ties. These ties can be created to you by other peoples strong emotions towards you. Jealousy, hate, envy, anger, lust can create soul ties to you from what I have found in deliverance sessions. We should only be tied to Jesus Christ and our earthly spouse. Daily prior to bed repent, break curses and cut soul ties from the day. In the morning when you awake, ask for discernment, cancel assignments against you, and break off anything that came through the dream world. Be diligent and stay in the word of God praying without ceasing throughout the day.
In Brotherly Love,
