Unforgiveness can come in many forms, it can be so hidden that you don’t even realize that you have it. This was the case with a woman we have been ministering to for some time. She is a woman that has been a detective for years investigating the most horrendous cases of abuse. Troy had spoken about unforgiveness in the previous week on our Jesus Saves On-Line church. It was following this message that Debbie had begun to evaluate some things that were hiding in her heart.
We started out our ministry session and she brought up the fact that she thought she had unforgiveness in her heart towards perpetrators that she had investigated and had sent to prison. She had said that she had sat across many evil people that stated: “they would do it again when they got out.” She shared with us that she had been the detective on many scenes where victims were dead, in horrible ways. A reasoning mind would think that these people deserve the harshest sentences possible for their crimes, and indeed they do. We asked her if she had hate towards these people, and she did. We asked her if she had unforgiveness towards any of these people and she said she did, vehemently. We then asked her if she was ready to forgive them, and she replied: “I believe I have to”.
Strong Manifestations of Demons
We led Debbie through some prayers releasing herself from the bondage of unforgiveness towards these people that she had sent to prison, had investigated, etc. Directly after these prayers, strong demons manifested. She began to shake uncontrollably and yell loudly. I began to remember scriptures concerning demons coming out with loud voices. I am here to tell you that they do. We encountered demons of murder, rage, rape, and hate. They (the demons) were very angry that they had been brought to the surface. Demons will always try to stay hidden, and when you pressure them and dismantle their legal rights they do surface. These demons began to choke her, they were extremely violent towards Debbie. She would motion to her neck in a panic, and we would have to bind them. They did not want to go and it was a battle.
Broken Heart Parts
Along with these demonic spirits within Debbie were also parts of her heart that had broken. She began vividly remembering crime scenes that had deeply affected her and had broken her heart. Debbie is a very very tough lady, however, even the strongest person would have difficulty not being affected by some situations she shared with us. She had also touched many dead bodies, and demons of death had transferred to her by touching these bodies. As a detective, she understood that she would have to in the future deal with these same situations again.
We do not converse with demons except to determine if legal rights still are in place. As we interrogated these demons they became louder and were causing Debbie to choke and shake and they (the demons) yelled that they did not have any more legal rights after she had forgiven the perpetrators of the crimes she had investigated. They were expelled with loud voices and violent shaking. At this point, Troy and I both felt that we needed to stop. Debbie had been through so much already and she needed to process what had already happened during this session. She is getting so much deliverance and it is coming off in layers. We continue to meet with her weekly. Her testimony will be so powerful when her deliverance is complete.
Why we need to forgive
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Un-forgiveness can be hidden and you should ask the Lord to reveal it to you. The word of God is clear that we must forgive, it isn’t a request. Forgiveness doesn’t mean what they did was right, but we forgive because we are forgiven. When we hold on to unforgiveness we are in bondage to the very thing that we can’t let go. When we forgive we are freed ourselves. If you are struggling in an area of your life and you can’t seem to break through contact us, you may benefit from some personal deeper ministry.
Blessings In Christ,
